Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the AURA app ("App"), operated by Matthieu Grambert ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AURA, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AURA is an AI-powered photo studio that transforms selfies into professionally-lit portrait images and cinematic videos using generative AI technology. The App requires an internet connection and an account to use.

3. Credits System

AURA uses a credits system to access generation features:

Free credits are provided upon account creation
Additional credits can be purchased as one-time top-ups (consumable purchases)
Credits can also be obtained through an auto-renewing subscription
Credits are non-transferable and have no monetary value
Unused credits from consumable purchases do not expire

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

AURA offers the following auto-renewing subscription plans:

Monthly — 60 AURA credits per month, billed monthly at $8.99/month
Pro — 130 AURA credits per month, billed monthly at $17.99/month
Annual — 450 AURA credits per year (best value), billed annually at $49.99/year

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds are issued for unused time.

Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, will be forfeited when a subscription is purchased.

5. Payments

All purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. By making a purchase, you also agree to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any photos you upload. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your photos for the sole purpose of providing the AI generation service. We do not use your photos for training AI models or for any other purpose. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload photos of other individuals without their consent
Use the App to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or exploit the App or its AI models
Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and AI models, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Generated images are provided for your personal use.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated results may vary and are not guaranteed to meet any specific expectation. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or any generated content.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of France.
